TOUR PRICE

The price of $29,500 per person, double occupancy (single supplement adds $3,990) includes the following:

• Air transportation on private BAC 1-11 jetlinerfrom Lisbon, Portugal to Barcelona, Spain. All flights are scheduled for late morning departures and daylight travel, allowing travellers to arrive at each new destination relaxed, refreshed and ready to explore.

• International airfares from New York to Lisbon and from Barcelona to New York are not included,and are available as A&K air supplements for $698 per person Economy Class and $4,089 per person Business Class. (Taxes for these airfares are additional. All air quotes are subject to change and carry special penalties and surcharges. Flight confirmation is based on availability. Fares are also available from other major US. cities.) Air reservations will not be confirmed until a passport copy is received.

• Accommodations, as indicated in the itinerary or similar, based on two persons sharing a twinbedded room. Suites and single hotel rooms are available at some destinations (in limited numbers) at a supplementary cost, assigned on a first-comefirst-served basis.

• All meals. When group meals are scheduled, substitute dining arrangements will not be reimbursed. When group meals are not scheduled, you may dine à la carte at your hotel restaurant; charges for coffee and bottled mineral water are included.

• Transfers on arrival and departure at all destinations, including porterage of two pieces of baggage per person. Excess baggage may be stored on the aircraft.PLEASE NOTE that while every effort will be made to safeguard your possessions, baggage and personal effects are carried at owner's risk throughout the tour.

• The services of professional A&K Tour Managers throughout the itinerary and local guides as appropriate.

• Hotel and airport taxes; entrance fees during sightseeing tours; all gratuities except those for your A&K Tour Managers; all necessary visas.

Not included in the quoted price: international airfares (see above); gratuities to the A&K Tour Managers (a decision best left to personal discretion); personal expenses such as laundry; travellers' insurance; costs of obtaining passports; beverages when not included; sightseeing not included in the itinerary; and communication charges.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

REGISTRATION

Early registration is essential. A deposit of $1500.00 per person is required at the time you book.The balance is due 120 days prior to your departure date. Payment of the tour cost constitutes your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set out herein and in more specific pre-tour passenger documentation, including the Reservation Confirmation Form.

CANCELLATION FEES

Cancellations received more than 180 days prior to departure are subject to a $250 per person cancellation fee; 179-120 days, $1500 per person; 119-90 days, 30% of tour cost per person; 89-60 days, 50% of tour cost per person; 59 days or less, 100% of tour cost per person.

INSURANCE

Baggage and personal effects are at owner's risk throughout the tour. We strongly recommend A&K's Passenger Travel Protection Program, which helps provide protection against lost or damaged baggage, or reimbursement in the event of unexpected cancellation or interruption of your trip.

ARRANGEMENTS

Quoted tour prices include planning, handling and operational charges, and are based on the current rate of exchange and tariff as of June 2000. In the event of a marked increase in foreign exchange, tariff rates or fuel costs, prices are subject to revision.

PHOTOGRAPHY ON TOUR

A&K reserves the right to take photographs or videos during the operation of any tour or part thereof, and to use the resulting photography for promotional purposes. By booking a reservation with A&K, tour members agree to allow their image to be used in such photography; tour members who prefer that their image not be used are asked to identify themselves to their Tour Director at the commencement of their tour.

It purchases transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurant and other services from various independent suppliers (including, but not limited to, other Abercrombie & Kent companies) that are not subject to its control. ABERCROMBIE & KENT INTERNATIONAL INC. CANNOT, THEREFORE, BE LIABLE FOR DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY OR ANY OTHER LOSS that may occur (1) due to any act or omission of any such supplier, (2) by reason of any other event over which it has no control.
