Within their sunlit, ordered acres, they seem to harbor the very best of civilized life.
They stand as quiet symbols of a worldview where tradition is respected; and good food , good friends and the time to enjoy them are among the paramount joys of life.
In October 2001, join a small group of select A&K travellers who will embark on a 25-day journey to six of the best wine-producing regions, designed to show them the world through the bottom of a crystal wine glass - with an itinerary that celebrates all the many pleasures of "living well".
Great Vineyards of the World is a spectacular single-departure itinerary, made possible only by private air travel and Abercrombie & Kent's worldwide network of travel experts.

Please join us in October, as vineyards of the Northern Hemisphere are just finishing their season's harvest "crush" and those of southern climes are welcoming the spring.

Small, select groups of travellers ensure a more personal experience, a dedicated standard of service, and access to a cultural "insider's" viewpoint. A&K never exceeds 24 passengers per each Tour Manager.
Time to explore glamorous shopping districts in fashionable cities; succumb to the charms of small village markets; and discover the individual beauty of each remarkable destination.
Alternative sightseeing itineraries are available on selected days for those who do not wish to participate in vineyard visits and tastings.

Special reserved dining events celebrate the appreciation of fine cuisine and wine as colorful threads in a cultural fabric. On evenings when special events have not been planned, dine à la carte at your hotel and A&K picks up the bill.
Every care is taken to attend to your utmost comfort and personal requirements, both on your international flights and throughout the entire tour.
