A naturalist guide shows you the quiet beauty of the Lodge's 2,000 acres. Visit a local Christmas tree farm and help cut down a tree you will help decorate later at the hotel. Warm up with hot cider and donuts then head back to Stowe. Ride the gondola to the top of Mount Mansfield for lunch at Cliff House Restaurant and majestic views of the valley. Shelburne Museum

Monday Dec. 22 BLD
Visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Company then continue to the Shelburne Museum, a collection of American folk art comprised of 80,000 pieces of Americana. During lunch at the Middlebury Inn, carolers entertain you and Santa drops by with gifts. Drive along the shores of Lake Champlain to Lake Placid for a sumptuous candlelight dinner and two nights at the elegant MIRROR LAKE INN.
Lake Placid Olympic sites

After a hearty Adirondack breakfast, learn to make a Christmas wreath then enjoy a guided tour of the Olympic sites with time to explore the Olympic village on your own. This afternoon, weather permitting, enjoy a ride aboard a horsedrawn sleigh then stop for a savory dinner. MIRROR LAKE INN.

Set out for a drive through Vermont's Green Mountains stopping at a lovely inn for lunch. In Deerfield, Massachusetts, visit the Yankee Candlemaking Factory and Museum. Arrive in Northampton in time to attend church services this evening. Return to the hotel for dinner and a tree-trimming party. HOTEL NORTHAMPTON.

Merry Christmas! Your morning is free to relish the homey, holiday atmosphere. Enjoy your breakfast buffet, relax and attend church services if you wish. Luncheon is served at the hotel before you embark on a guided tour of Northampton. Tonight's farewell Christmas dinner gives you the chance to reminisce. HOTEL NORTHAMPTON.
