Unpretentious Elegance To Asia, Arabia, India & The Red Sea

Brillant as a cloud drifting in the still Norwegian sky, Song of Flower glides through blue water on a voyage of discovery. She sails with a proud heritage from the land of deep fjords and legendary mariners to explore coastal treasures from the shores of India through the Suez Canal and beyond. On board you're part of her rich seafaring legacy, warm hospitality and inviting ambiance. It's a feeling many describe as "elegance without pretense." Relax in the sun on deck as breezes off the Java Sea cool the day. Or stroll under the stars of a southern sky as Norwegian officers guide Song of Flower toward intriguing ports larger ships must pass by. After a day ashore, enjoy afternoon tea, served in the grand tradition of fine ocean cruising. Evening brings gracious gourmet dining, nightly entertainment and the comforts of "home"- your spacious stateroom with sweeping ocean views.

As one of Norway's Finest, Song of Flower is unique in every detail. We invite you to discover her on the pages that follow and find what many believe to be the ultimate cruise vacation.

On Song of Flower our shipboard staff takes pride in providing you with outstanding service. Enjoy many of life's finer pleasures on your voyage, each one with our compliments ... order room service at any hour, cocktails in any lounge, specialty drinks poolside and fine wines to accompany lunch and dinner ... all without signing a bill.

We try our best to Anticipate Your Needs rather than merely fulfill them. Your Scandinavian stewardess remembers your schedule; the bartender mixes your favorite cocktail as if he's known you for years; your waiter takes note of your sweet tooth and brings extra petits fours. And while it's true that we have the most generous crew to guest ratio of any ship, we also have a staff of individuals who are superb at what they do and are delighted to be doing it.

On every sailing Song of Flower surrounds her 172 guests with a spacious onboard enviroment crafted in the tradition of elegant Scandinavian refinement. In the Observation Lounge, high above the sea, you can marvel at panoramic views anytime from dawn until dusk. For relaxing in the sun, the teak deck around the pool is the perfect spot, close to the invigorating whirlpool spa, overlooking miles of blue water. Nearby, outdoor dining in the al fresco cafe features daily breakfast and luncheon buffets along with delicious menu selections. To keep up your fitness regimen, the healthclub and sauna are only steps away.

Sun Deck features casual outdoor dining, a large jacuzzi and swimming pool with plenty of deck space.

Days at sea are days of bright opportunity. join us for informative talks given by our Guest Lecturers. Practice your swing in the golf cage, or visit the officers on the Bridge. Activities abound, yet some of the most memorable are often spontaneous: a school of dolphin sighted off the port bow; watching for the magical "green flash" as the sun drops below the equatorial horizon; trading tales of travel and making new friends. Due to her size, Song of Flower is able to journey far off well-traveled routes, easing into less-traveled ports that larger cruise ships can only dream of. And aboard the 100-passenger launch Tiny Flower, you'll have access to some of the world's most unusual and intriguing lands.

After a day of discovery, return to your "home away from home." Relax and refresh in your Comfortable Stateroom, enjoy a cocktail with friends, or dance in the Nightclub before dining at your leisure.

Like night-blooming jasmine, Song of Flower's most alluring attractions wait until evening to appear. Gourmet Dining is a blend of elegance and ease, where soft piano music and exquisite presentation enhance your meal. With dinner, fine French and California wines are selected by our sommelier and served with our compliments. And for the connoisseur of rare vintages, we stock some of the world's most cherished wines for purchase. Best Of all, we offer single, open seating dining, allowing you to dine when, where and with whom you choose.

With two dance floors, a night club and show stage, casino and five-piece orchestra, our Nightly Entertainment program rivals that of a much larger vessel. Or for that quiet evening in your stateroom, select a videotape or choose a novel from our well-stocked library.

Distinctive features, uncompromising luxury and superb service place Song of Flower in a class of one. We invite you to compare her uncommon offerings with those of other Six-Star vessels. Once you do, we think you'll discover why she is the ship of choice for those who seek not only the best value, but the FINEST CRUISE experience as well.
